Photography
Whether you are looking for a family portrait or a children’s one, we provide a home photography session set in your familiar surroundings away from a sterile and sometimes unrelaxed studio environment.
We are very respectful when taking home photographs; our equipment is home appropriate while still providing you with a high-quality service. When you phone to book, we will ask you for a little information about the room where the photographs are to be taken so we can prepare accordingly. Garden and outdoor photographs are also very popular when the weather is good and the sun is shining.
For something different, photographs can be taken on location at a place of your choosing for a reasonable additional fee.
Themes available for children and newborn portraits include props and clothes if required.

YOUR PHOTO SESSION
Your photo session starts from your first enquiry where you let us know what you are looking for; we can then discuss any requirements/themes you have in mind. For themed sessions, if we do not currently have that theme, we will endeavour to obtain all the clothes and props necessary to provide you with the photographs you expect. For photographs in the home, the ‘time coverage‘ does not include setup and set down time of our equipment; this takes approximately 30 minutes before and after.
For themed sessions from newborn to children, we recommend our Bronze Package; during this one-hour session, there will be time for a costume change or two. We would also suggest you provide a favourite comfort toy as they will be more relaxed and the photos will look natural. Through experience, we have found that if possible for under 5s, arranging a booking time that corresponds to just after nap time works best – although this is not always the case; we also understand that feed times can happen at any time; therefore, we are flexible in our time coverage.
From the date of your photo session, two to three weeks later after a basic edit, your photographs will be available in your own private online viewing gallery; you will be provided with a link and a password for privacy. At first, they will be provided in medium quality and watermarked where you will be able to select and let us know which ones you would like included in your chosen package. The chosen photographs will be further hand-edited, retouched to an unwatermarked final HD quality and available for download from your gallery; presentation/canvas etc. photographs will be sent via Royal Mail.
